Frequently Asked Questions

Sweet Sounds Music Studio is located on the first floor in THCA Sports Centre. When coming to lessons students enter via the reception and go straight upstairs to our studio. The general reception area is accessible for both parents and carers of students attending THCA Sports Centre as well as Sweet Sounds Music Studio. 

Our one-on-one piano lessons are Monday - Friday afternoons and evenings as well as Saturday mornings. Baby/toddler Music and Movement classes are subject to class numbers - however usually are held weekly on Mondays and Thursday mornings at 10:30am. These classes often change depending on the ages of the babies/children. Contact us today to discuss available lesson and class times. 

Usually we take students for one-on-one piano lessons from the age of 5 (starting primary school). We find this is a great time to begin learning and the 30 minute time frame is just right! 

It's never too late to learn or reignite that love for music - adult lessons are also available.

Students have the opportunity to undertake AMEB practical, theory or musicianship exams if this is a desire or goal of theirs.

Taking inspiration from Vivaldi - we do seasonal concerts where students are given the opportunity to perform 'on the green' for family and friends at THCA Sports Centre. 

There are 3 payment options for lessons:

• Full term (10 lessons)
• Half term (5 lessons)
• Casually 

A minimum of 12 hours notice must be given for cancelling a class. A makeup lesson can then be rescheduled for another date. If less than 12 hours is given a makeup class is forfeited/refund.
